Participation Requirements:

A parent is required to work one day per week from 8:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Once a month each family is responsible for supplying a healthy snack for all the children and parents on their workday, in addition to coordinating a project for the children.

Membership Meetings

One parent per family must attend a monthly membership meeting, held in the evenings. In addition, there are several other parent education events throughout the year that are mandatory.

School Job

As a parent-run cooperative, each family is responsible for performing a job throughout the year. Jobs include the school offices (president, vice president, treasurer, secretary) as well as other support functions such as purchasing, alumni relations and maintenance day coordination.

School Maintenance

Each family is required to attend three, four-hour maintenance days per school year which are focused on the upkeep of the school facility. They are typically held every-other month during the school year on a Saturday morning.


Each family is required to participate in several mandatory fundraising events throughout the year, which support the school’s operations and fund items such as scholarships, music and other enrichment programs.

Additional fundraising activities include event support, raffle ticket sales, soliciting donations.
